[…] They are drawn bluntly and even a little outrageous in this regard. If there are any incorrectnesses there, they are (if I dare to express myself that way) learned incorrectnesses produced by the ardor of sensibly marking the truths and beauties of nature, which we feel keenly and which we express with excess. »
