Description
The present drawing is an Allegory of the Rules of Human Life which depend on the divine rules. In effect, a crowned woman is standing before the Tables of the Law. She holds in her left hand a scepter drawings by Nuschelersurrounded by two serpents, symbols of power, wisdom and divine authority, and in her right hand the Cross. On her shoulder sits a bird, most probably a dove, to symbolize peace. The woman stands on a globe to show the universality of the divine principles.
